Decorated Junino Cake Recipe

Ingredients for making decorated Junino Cake:

For the cake:

 1 yogurt (170 g) flavored to your liking

 3 cups of wheat flour (measurement of the yogurt cup)

 2 cups of sugar (measurement of the yogurt cup)

 1 cup of oil (measurement of the yogurt cup)

 4 eggs

 1 tablespoon of baking powder

For the filling:

 1 can of condensed milk

 1 glass of coconut milk

 3 egg yolk

 1 cup of sugar (160 grams)

 ½ cup of water (120 milliliters)

To decorate:

 15 Kit-Kat packages (45 g each)

 1 pack of chocolate M&Ms (250 g)

How to make Decorated Junino Cake:

Prepare your junino cake starting by separating the yolks from the whites and whipping the whites in snow until they are very consistent, that is, they no longer run out of the bowl.

Beat egg yolks with sugar, add oil and yogurt and beat again. When well-incorporated inlaid ingredients, add to sifted flour and mix.

Finally, add the whites gently, so as not to lose air, and finish with the yeast.

Place the dough of this decorated junino cake in a round and floured pan without a central hole. Place in a preheated oven at 180ºC and bake for about 40 minutes. When you're done, retire and let it cool.

In the meantime, prepare the baba de Menina filling: pass it as yolks through a sieve in order to filter the film (responsible for the taste and smell of eggs in desserts). Reservation.

Tip: Pierce the yolks with a fork and avoid stirring, so that the film doesn't run through the sieve.

Place the sugar and water in a pan over high heat and stir only until all the sugar is involved in the water. Without further stirring, wait for a boil, then lower the heat and let it boil for about 15 minutes until it thickens to a fine point. This point is necessary to get a girly drool in the right consistency.

Tip: To find out if the sugar syrup is fine, take a little with a spoon, pour it and a continuous stream of syrup should form.
